Today, nursery children took part in a gentle exploration of Remembrance Day. Through creative experiences and quiet reflection, they learned about the importance of remembering those who served and sacrificed. Children enjoyed painting beautiful poppies, as well as crafting poppies using tissue paper and play dough, developing fine motor skills whilst engaging in thoughtful conversation about the symbol of the poppy.
At 11 o’clock, children observed a two minute silence together. We are so proud of how our little learners engaged with this special day.
