- As a school we have a wide range of support for SEMH needs.
- We have a dedicated pastoral team who support both pupil and their families. Our pastoral manager, Tara Duncombe can be contacted directly through the school telephone service. Our pastoral team can signpost children and their families to a wide range of external services or organise a team around the family (TAF) to support. They also provide support through lunchtime clubs to help pupils’ social development.
- A robust RSHE curriculum.
- We offer a five day Place2be play therapy service. Children can be referred by any member of staff in school but parents can request a referral from the SENCO or pastoral manager.
- We provide lunchtime and beak time nurture clubs for pupils who need it.
- We invest in programmes such as Lego Therapy to support the emotional development of our pupils.
- We implement whole class and small group interventions such as Relax Kids, P4C, the Active Mile, Social Stories
- We implement staff CPD to ensure staff have the knowledge and skillset to support our children’s emotional and social needs.
