- Emma Milburn, Head Teacher, is our designated teacher for Child Looked After (CLA) pupils and she works closely with the SENCO to ensure all teachers in school understand the implications for CLA children who have SEN. The SENCO, designated CLA teacher and the pastoral manager work closely to ensure any CLA children receive effective, holistic support.
- Because the needs of all children are different, the Designated Teacher for LAC ensures each child is monitored closely as an individual and any bespoke support they require is provided in a timely manner.
- CLA children will have a PEP alongside their support plan / EHCP (if relevant) This will clearly show what individualised support they require and how the school will provide that.
