We are committed to meeting the needs of all children including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. We would ask parents to discuss the identified needs with the school prior to starting so that appropriate intervention and support can be planned and implemented. Advice from the LA or other agencies may be requested to ensure any the school can meet any needs appropriately.

Two Year Old Provision Places (Rainbow Room)
We offer play and learn sessions for all two year olds in the term after they turn two. Some families may qualify for the free 15 hours others may need to pay for the sessions. We also offer additional wrap around child care from 8.30am-4.30pm for a small fee. To apply for a place complete the form below and take it to the school office with your child’s birth certificate.
Nursery Places
We offer morning (8.45am-11.45pm) or afternoon (12.30-3.30pm) nursery sessions. We also offer additional wrap around child care from 8.30am-5.00pm for a small fee. To apply for a place complete a new starter form available at the school office and once completed take it back with your child’s birth certificate.
Reception Places
To apply for a reception place, please complete the application form and sent to Durham County Council. If you need assistance don’t hesitate to contact the school office.
In Year Transfers
To apply for a Yr1 -6 school place, the application form and send to Durham County Council. If you need assistance don’t hesitate to contact the school office.
Secondary Places

Applying for a school place if your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan
Children and young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan follow a different admission and transfer process for a new school. Please continue to complete Durham County Council’s parental preference form, as part of the admission process to a new school. You continue to have a right to request a particular school and this will be considered alongside the information that we have about your child’s special educational needs. The information would have been provided as part of the Education, Health and Care assessment or following the review meeting.
