On Wednesday 20th November, Year 3 and Year 4 went on a trip to Newcastle.
We travelled in a really posh coach from Peterlee into Newcastle, crossing over the River Tyne. We first of all visited the Great North Museum (Hancock), to see their Ancient Greek artefacts collection and we even had time to look around some of the other fascinating displays.
After leaving the museum, we walked down Northumberland Street to the restaurant. We had an opportunity to see all the Christmas stalls and even had a quick peek at Fenwicks window.
For lunch, we stopped at a restaurant called Simply Greek on the Bigg Market. As there were so many of us, we practically filled the whole restaurant. At the restaurant, we all tried some delicious Greek food – hummus, fresh bread, chicken pasta and meatballs.
Have a look at some of our picture memories from the day.
We all had a fantastic time!
