Today was a wonderful day packed full of fun and exploration, especially because we had some of our amazing parents that came and joined in the fun with us.
We started off the day with a scavenger hunt around the school grounds. Then, we tried doing some outdoor art by finding different leaves and making patterns with the different shapes and colours using a needle and thread. After that we hung them on the trees around school.
Next, we made some fantastic shelters out of things we found on the field. Finally, we toasted some marshmallows around the fire pit and made some delicious s’mores.
It was such a gorgeous morning and I’d like to say a massive thank you to all the parents who joined us for their super attitude, support and team work. The children loved it and we hope to have many more special events like this in the future!
