During one Enrichment afternoon in Spring 1, Year 5 took part in the STEM challenge of protecting an egg.
The children were tasked with only being able to use 3 different types of material. Some weird and wonderful designs were made, and 12 teams battled it out.
To make it fair, all the eggs were dropped by the same person from the same height. Our success rate – over 80% of the eggs survived. Well done Year 5!
We definitely have some budding engineers in our midst’s.
