On Friday 15th November, 2LL were tasked with the challenge of investigating which material would be the best to create a tissue.
They had the following equipment:
- a range of materials (cotton wool, 2ply tissues, kitchen roll, crete paper, tissue paper and normal A4 paper)
- coloured water
- a pipette
The children had to test each material with a couple of drops of the coloured liquid in turn to see a) which was the best absorber and b) which would be good enough to rub our noses on so they didn’t hurt.
Overall, the children decided that it should be either the kitchen roll or using a few tissues (as one was too think!)
